2024 Conference Bookstore Submission Form
Dear WWW 2024 Conference Bookstore Participant,
Thank you for expressing interest to participate in the bookstore for the 30th Anniversary Women Writing the West Conference in Denver, Colorado, October 10-12, 2024.
Books Are Awesome, an outstanding locally owned bookstore, is partnering with WWW as our official Conference bookstore. https://www.booksareawesome.org/
IMPORTANT DETAILS
The deadline to submit the bookstore participation form is Sunday, August 25, 2024 (sorry – no exceptions).
The number of participants is capped at 45 and will be filled on a first-come basis upon submission of the below form.
An author must be a current WWW member to participate in book consignment. Books must be authored or co-authored by said author. The 2024 WILLA Winners and Finalists books will be available for sale in addition to consigned books.
Books Are Awesome will take books on consignment, a maximum of three titles per author, five copies of each. Authors receive 50% of list price in the form of a mailed check.
Authors must bring their books to the Conference Bookstore on Thursday, 10/10, between 1 pm – 5 pm. Books will not be accepted after those hours or on Friday.
If you need to ship books ahead of time, you may send them to the hotel no more than two weeks before the conference: Hilton Garden Inn, DTC 7675 East Union Ave., Denver, CO 80237
Label the package with your name and Women Writing the West Conference. The hotel may charge a reasonable handling/storage fee. You are encouraged to track your package as WWW cannot be responsible for ensuring your books are received.
Authors supply one additional copy of each title consigned as a display book for the Conference book signing and participate as a signing author on Saturday, 10/12, from approximately 4 pm – 5:30 pm (tentative schedule).
Authors are responsible for picking up unsold books from the Conference Bookstore no later than 8:30 p.m., Saturday, 10/12.
